Young Minded Sightings

I was approximately 10 years old, I am now 21, and when I was this young I must have linked the sighting to one of those red balls you see along highway's power lines to serve as a director for airplanes. I was at a lake, (Lonetree in Colorado with my father and sister and dad's friend.)
I remember looking up at it and wondering for a split second "what is that up there" and to this day do not understand why I'd forgotten about it until remembering that day a few years later.
And when I did remember a few years later or so, about that day it instantly hit me. Wow I thought I have really seen an extraterrestrial object, remembering vividly then that it wasn't red at all. It wasn't connected to any power lines.
It was metallic colored and so close to my eyes view I sometimes wonder if the object itself brainwashed me to forget about it. And I remember it so clearly now. It just sat there in the middle of a beautiful clear day. No movement what so ever. I've asked my dad and my sister if they remember me telling them about it and they don't. Hell I don't even remember telling them about it.
That's why it all seems so strange to this day.
But thinking back to when I did see it I realize that I wasn't frightened but a tad, I was excited to have seen this that I'm sure so many are skeptical of. I feel dorky when I describe my experience but I know the truth. And as a child my dad had taught me to believe in extraterrestrials and I do.  O that's what it was just a perfect sphere(metallic) just like ones I've seen on Sightings, not a saucer cause I imagine there are lots of aliens out there.
They're just waiting for mankind to become intelligent enough to communicate not fear cause fear can cause war and I believe that's what aliens are above.
